On May 1, Labor Day – 30 pre-teen and teen-aged students from the Philippine Schools Overseas  Bahrain, Oman, Doha, Dubai, and Shanghai   converged in the kitchens of Enderun Colleges in McKinley Hill to face-off and demonstrate culinary skills inspired by their Filipino heritage.

DUBAI:Nine hundred ninety-seven pupils of two public schools in the Philippines, whose educa­tion has been affected by two calamities in 2013, have received a financial assistance of Dhs17,259 ($4,685.00/Php207,108) from young Filipinos in the UAE.
