With the recent educational shift to K-12, The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) featured Edukasyon.ph (http://edukasyon.ph) to help the 27,500 students and their OFW families in searching for the right Senior High Schools for their children. Edukasyon.ph is a free website platform that gives choice, convenience and advice on education to career options around the Philippines.

Louise Andrea B. Punzalan, Grade 4 pupil of the Al Dura International School in Jeddah, KSA and Jessica Mari Q. Flores, Grade 10 student of the Philippine International School – Qatar in Doha, Qatar were adjudged top artists in the Grade School and High School category, respectively, in the international poster making competition for Philippine Schools Overseas (PSO). The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) launched the said contest in time for the celebration of the Month of Overseas Filipinos and International Migrants Day this December.

Recognizing the potential of these modern technologies, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) started developing innovative projects to provide better and faster services to more than 10 million Filipinos overseas and their families left behind.
Our deep appreciation to CFO for launching the PSO Facebook page! This is a very commendable initiative. Indeed, it’s a way of recognizing the best efforts of PSOs in promoting Philippine educational system. This Facebook page also binds PSOs and all Filipinos in the noble aim of showing how Filipino professionals are educated and prepared for the world of work.
