HISTORY
The New Kuwait-Philippines International School (NKPIS) situated at J’leeb Al-Shuyoukh in the State of Kuwait, under the Om Al-Qura Educational Establishment, Al Jeri Holding Group is founded in the year 1999 by the late Hon. Khalifa Talal Al-Jeri. He established the institution to reach out to Filipino children and provide them an educational experience that would suit their needs, based from the Educational Curriculum of Philippines.
The school continued to keep on moving forward to meet the dreams that the founder had set. The school is now being managed by his youngest, visionary leader and a well-competent son Hon. Talal Khalifa Al-Jeri, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Al Jeri Holding Group. NKPIS had underwent several accreditation and inspections by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), Philippines. Thus, the NKPIS became the first Philippine School abroad who was given a license to operate and pilot the Grade 11 and 12 Program of the Department of Education, Manila, Philippines on March 2010.
Over the years the school achieved too much from curricular to co-curricular since then, through the hard effort of the School Principal, Dr. Jesusa Cristina V. Puno since she started from June, 2005.
The School Principal attends the yearly Philippine Schools Overseas (PSO) Conference to keep abreast with the new rules and regulations and other school matters of the Department of Education, Manila, Philippines.
Hence, The New Kuwait-Philippines International School is continuously offering quality education and serving the Filipino children in the State of Kuwait from Kindergarten to Senior High School Education, and implementing the K to 12 Basic Educational Program set by the Department of Education, Manila, Philippines, also following all the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Education, State of Kuwait.
With God’s blessings, the school boldly continues to uphold the vision of the founder in keeping NKPIS forever moving forward.

The New Kuwait–Philippines International School (NKPIS) is an overseas private school established to cater to the needs and educational demands of the Filipino children and other nationalities in the State of Kuwait.
