Background
Int’l. Philippine School of Shanghai (IPSS) is the first Philippine School in Shanghai. It is a Philippine/ European privately owned institution intended for the Filipino community living in Shanghai. There is a strong demand and growing need for a full credited school followed and be recognized by the Philippine Department of Education. The school provides secure quality education for all students with affordable fees. However, it is also an institution whose admission is open where acceptance and respect of one’s identity and culture is a very important consideration. It offers a curriculum that is Philippine-based, but with the integration of international standards and approaches in teaching that would make every child academically inclined, globally competitive, thus able to respond actively and positively to the growing changes of the future.
Institutional Philosophy
Int’l. Philippine School of Shanghai (IPSS) encourages students to study and make the most of every opportunities. This way they can achieve their full potential. The school fosters a strong sense of a caring community and provides a supportive, nurturing, and warm environment. Small classes supervised by qualified, dynamic, and enthusiastic staff ensure that students benefit not only academically but also personally. We aim that our students develop their self-esteem and confidence and will grow into a happy and independent individual with healthy mind and body.
