Background
The Philippine Sunrise International School (PSIS) is an educational institution catering to the needs of young Filipinos in the Western part of Saudi Arabia. The PSIS is the fastest growing Philippine school abroad under the management of the Overseas Family Cooperative (OFC). It is the first Philippine school in Saudi Arabia to adopt the E-Learning System (ICT) and is proud to offer advanced educational facilities in the field of sciences, mathematics, english (both language and literature) and computer technology.
The quality education offered by the PSIS prepares the pupils and students to face future challenges posed by a highly competitive world of work. Its competent and dedicated faculty and staff, school administration, excellent and up-to-date facilities, athletic competitions and other worthwhile activities contribute to mould capable, competent, responsible, and service – oriented young boys and girls.
The PSIS was issued a Provisional Government Permit No. 009, s. 2007, by the Department of Education in the Philippines on 18 October 2007 and was granted a Government Recognition, GR – 003, s. 2009 on 23 January 2009.

The PSIS is a people organization committed to cultural and academic excellence in educational service. Believing that the most important resource of our country is its people, it makes the task of educating every child its singular mission. It enables the child to discover his/her full potential in a child-centered, value – driven and teaching-learning environment. Thereby, he/she will create his destiny in the global community. The PSIS prepares him/her to become a responsible citizen and an enlightened leader who loves his/her country.
The school administration, faculty and staff achieve desired learning outcomes not only because they are competent and accountable, but because they care. The school leaders ensure adequate resources and promote the use of appropriate technology to enhance learning, counting on family and community support for its efforts.
