PISPP School Background/ History

The Philippine International School of Phnom Penh (PISPP) holds the distinction of being the first-ever international school in the Mekong region accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd) of the Philippines.

PISPP operates with the official permit from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MOEYS) of Cambodia. This permit signifies compliance with Cambodian regulations and further validates the school’s commitment to providing quality education within the country.

Established to cater primarily to the educational needs of Filipino expatriates and their families, PISPP has also welcomed students from various nationalities, contributing to its diverse and multicultural environment.

PISPP Vision

PISPP envisions itself in developing well-rounded, confident, and resilient learners in a child-friendly learning environment. It aims to nurture the development of their full potential to become lifelong learners, with support and encouragement from their respective families, community, and other stakeholders. PISPP aligns itself with the Philippine Education system to ensure continuous learning.

PISPP Mission

PISPP commits to providing quality, liberating, resilient, and inclusive basic education in a safe, respectful learning environment. The school aims to nurture and develop learners’ curiosity for learning and instill a sense of responsibility for themselves and the environment. This goal is achieved through the collaborative efforts of PISPP administration, faculty, staff, families, the community, and other stakeholders. These efforts pave the way for continuous learning, not only within the Philippine educational system but also within other parallel educational systems.
